Exploring with limitations, using Googe Docs as a practice to find different methods of designing. By only using tools in Google Docs allowed discovery in punctuation as an embellishment for the “Magic” effect that correlated with the overall theme of the tour.

MIXED MEDIA

This technique was to combine two different mediums; Photoshop and hand painted text. Another way to establish the theme of the tour was to make the text into a crystal ball. Having the text being self made also connected to the Rockband’s sensibility.

PHOTOSHOP

The last method was to use only Photoshop. For the text “Magic Tour” and “Queen” are both Optima in bold. And the remaining of the text is in Snell Roundhand. Brush tools were used to create the sparkle effect from the Belgium flag all the way down to the last information needed for the concert.
